Weather Alert
Lions,
The ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ Emergency Management Team has made the decision to move to remote operations on Thursday, January 9, and Friday, January 10, 2025, in response to the for winter storms with potentially dangerous sleet and snowfall beginning mid-day Thursday. With the early notification of incoming storms and the first day of classes this coming Monday, we believe continued remote operations are critical to successfully beginning the Spring semester.
Offices that can be operated remotely will be expected to operate remotely, and employees who have questions about performing their work should contact their direct supervisors.
Some employees may not be able to work remotely – either due to the nature of their jobs or extenuating weather-based circumstances. For those individuals, inclement weather leave will remain available in Workday.
Over the next two days, campus buildings will be locked with the exception of the Boreham Library 24-hour lab, campus housing, and the Stubblefield Center. All events scheduled on campus, at the ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ Center for Economic Development at the Bakery District, and the Drennen-Scott Historic Site will be canceled or postponed.
